Complimentary Addons
Most people use their browser without any modifications whatsoever - for some people, this might be fine, but there are plenty of addons that could improve your browsing experience, especially if you’re pirating.
Adblock
There’s really only one adblock you need, and it’s uBlock Origin. Some other blockers (like Adblock Plus) allow what they called “Acceptable Ads”, which defeat the whole point of blockers. Others are simply not as extensive as UBO.
For YouTube, there is also SponsorBlock, which can block any sponsor segment on a video, as well as intros, outros, subscribe reminders, etc. For Twitch, you can use TTV LOL Pro with these proxies. You can also use the Alternative Player extension (Chrome, Firefox), however this merely “hides” the ads, not blocking it, meaning you’ll still need to wait for the ads to finish.
For Twitter, you can use OldTwitter. It is mainly meant to recreate the old layout that Twitter had back in 2015, however, it has the additional feature of blocking any ad tweets. (Specifically, ones that are marked as ads or promotions. It won’t block tweets simply promoting a product, but not actually paying to advertise a tweet.)
Streaming
On certain streaming sites, they lack any closed captions. Most do not have captions for languages other than English. For this, you can use Substital to add any caption you want, as well as get some automatically from opensubtitles. Please see their “getting started” page and their FAQ page for more details on how to use it.
